Hello
My situation is not entirely textbook. What I have are two servers in each their domain. Both servers are mine, but only one domain belongs to my organization while the other is under political restrictions of a different company to which I have no access. (The server in the foreign domain is hosted and maintained to publish services that my organization has decided to outsource. (Dual NIC server with one leg in each LAN))
I have local administrator access to whatever I want with the server in the neighboring domain. As a result, I have workgroup-like access to this server, and because I cannot set up a trust relationship, I am reliant upon a local user/group database on the mentioned server. This is naturally troublesome to maintain, so I was wondering if anyone had any nifty utilities or otherwise good ideas for pushing user/password information from my domain to the local user/group database on the outsourced server.
I hope this made some sense and, even more so, that someone has a good tip to simplify my administration.
Thank you kindly,
-B
