How to synchronize time between two solairis machine? Is anyway to sync time between win2k and solaris? Thanks.

u can use ntp ...or rdate....
nt is a better option ...
ntp clients r also available for the same so u can try the same

Thanks for your reply. Is the answer for solaris or win2k? Could you give me some details to do it. Thanks.

To syncronise time between 2 Solaris boxes run the following on box 1

# rdate box2

This doesn't ensure that the boxes have the correct time, but rather that they both have the same time.
To get the correct time you need to run the xntpd deamon, see man xntpd & man ntp.

If you want to extend time sync to windows, get something like abouttime (a freeware app available on the web), then set this up to get it's time from solaris box2.
