The synchronize feature of Dreamweaver does not seem to work, and I’m wondering if this is a know issue.
For me I use synchronize exclusively to update new pages, and it has never been able to identity the new pages on a local copy.
I n past I would select to update the whole website and it would strangely enough update just the selected new pages, but now that I’ve recently reinstalled dreamweaver when I select to update the entire website it does just that, which I don’t want.
So I stuck with software that says in can update new files from the local copy but really can’t – and this is a critical feature.
In fact, when I go to: site files view , select newer local, this also does not work, it just selects the entire local site.
Someone at dreamweaver said to empty the cache on IE 5. This has no affect.
Comments appreciated. Thanks
