Sync Outlook Private Appointments

Does anyone know how to ensure private appointments in Outlook are synchronised as private to the CRM service calendar?

If it can't be done is there a reasonable work-around?

Currently private appointments are synced back to CRM as public appointments. This feature has been put in as a request for a future version.
