Sync Error

I'm trying to sync a PPC2003 PDA with Exchange2003. The client authenticates just fine. When it tries to sync it returns the following error:

Synchronization failed because of a server error. Try again

Error code: HTTP_500

Obviously, trying again doesn't help.
