Hello all,
I recently inherited a Symposium system (SECC 3.0), but without any of the NGenSys, NGenDist, etc. passwords. The Sybase_bckserver service is currently stopped and returns an error when I attempt to start it. The service is currently set to log in using the system account, and based on previous threads here, I know that it should be set to log in using NGenSys instead. I've tried using some of the default passwords for NGenSys with no success, so I assume the password had been changed at some point. Before I change the NGenSys password to something else, I thought I'd check and see if there were any jobs or services that would be effected by a password change on NGenSys. As far as I can tell, the only services configured to log in using NGenSys are MAS Backup/Restore and Sybase_bckserver. Are there any other services where a password change will cause a conflict?
