Hi All,

Is there an easy way to find out which version of Sybase Symposium the server is running on? I probably cant get access to admin/dba logins etc.

Thanks in advance.

check in your sysmposium directory in program files,

1.5 = ???
3.0 = Sybase ASE 10.0
4.0 = Sybase ASE 11.03
4.2 = Sybase ASE 12.0
5.0 = Sybase ASE 12.5

From my testing the 12.0 ODBC driver works for 4.0, 4.2 and 5.0.
