Sybase Newbie Help

I have a sybase database that i have 3 separate sections too, data, log, index. In each section i have added space for the database at 2G increments, for a total of 10G-date, 4G-Index, and 2G-Log.I am moving the database to a new server via a dump/reload. What I am trying to find out is if I need to have the new database setup exactly the same way, with the 2G increments or can i just setup a 10G-data, 4G-index and a 2G-log segment. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
