SX200 MX Web Interface not working

I have a SX200MX release 5.0.0.18 that when I connect to the port on the front bypassing the 4 port switch I cannot use the web interface. I setup my laptop and connected in my lab and all was good, take the same laptop to the site and no go. The pms devices are connected thru a switch to the MX and they work great. I can telnet in. I am looking for an option other than reboot but realize it may come to that. Thanks in advance

Don't know why you want to use the web, I like to use putty since it's faster and I'm used to the terminal interface. You may need a reboot. You may also want to try if the commands for the web service to see if it is the same as the 3300 by connecting on port 2002 prior to doing the reboot. Haven't tried that.

Have a customer who allows remote access via a RDP terminal server. Had to access the system and tried web only to get the java complaint. As I can't install software on that machine, just downloaded putty, forced off the local echo and connected raw on 2000. Got what I needed done

ended up doing a restart and all is good now.
