I have an SX-200 MX ICP Release 5.0.0.18 that doesn't call if you set a wake-up using the embedded voicemail. Wake-ups set from the console work OK. I don't see anything in the manual indicating that there is any special programming needed to get this to work.

Are you saying that automatic wakeup calls aren't working when a guest sets it from the room phone?

Yes. When you call the voicemail, dial "9" to set a wake-up, and dial a time, it seems to accept it, replies with the date and time and returns to the prompts. But it never goes off. Voicemail Hospitality/PMS is enabled and the interface is working as checking in/out rooms in the PMS turns the voicemail box on/off. In form 50 the rooms are set to "Guest". Is there some other programming that needs to be done? All my other customers with SX-200's use the old automatic wake-up system because they like having a printout to show to customers who claim they didn't get a call so I've never dealt with Express Messenger wake-ups before. I'm also new to this property as the tech who installed the system was "fired" and no one knows if it ever worked.

Have you tested to make sure the wakeup call can be set from the phone yet?

Ignore VM for the moment.

Check your COS options, both for the Express Messenger ports, and for the guestrooms.
