I'm following the directions in my technicians handbook to program the PMS interface on the SX-200. According to the handbook, page 184, it's instructing to go into form 11, Circuit Descriptor, program to match the protocol and then to select the circuit descriptor options. That's a vague set of instructions give that there are many many listed circuit descriptors. However, #1 is programmed. I assume this is the one I that I would select the circuit descriptor options. Is that a correct assumption?

Thanks

#1 is programmed for what exactly?

What are you connecting to?
Is it IP ready?
Are you using IP to Serial Adaptors? (precidia iPocket for example)

Programming is required in ALL of the following forms
- Form 4
- Form 11
- Form 12
- Form 34

If you are using an iPocket then the PMS vendor is using serial, not IP

The iPocket controls the baud rate so the options in form 11 are not important
Form 12 - You should find a device programmed in the range of ccts from 1/13/19 to 1/13/28
- Make note of the extension
Form 34 - you should have the Extension found in form 12 programmed for PMS
Form 4 - you should have option 108 enabled (and others as required such as option 32)

The iPocket should connect using telnet client to port 613XX where the last 2 digits match the cct in form 12

Other than sacrificing a chicken, and praying to whatever god(s) you believe in, that should do it.

kwbMitel,

My hard work of sacrificing chickens and bathing in their blood has paid off. My heathen God's answered my prayers by sending me tek-tips.com
Tonight, I shall sacrifice a hundred bulls as homage to tek-tips.com(To those who have no sense of humor, I am kidding)

Tomorrow morning, I shall set out to complete my task of integrating PMS with the SX200 with the advice that was shared with me in this wonderful forum.

Thanks

How do you configure the iPocket to loo at the port 613XX that I programmed?

You're right, they do not match up but I think I got the gist of it.

Thanks
