I am trying to connect a 2924 to my 5500 via fiber (fast-ethernet). The trouble is I need to trunk a handfull of vlans to the 2924. The 2924 limits my ability to trunk on the fiber modules. Available command syntax on copper ports exists (switchport mode trunk). I am limited to Switchport mode access or switchport mode multi on the fiber card I added. Does anyone have any suggestions?
