Switching Network Devices - wired to wireless

Hello,

I have a wired 100Mbps wired network connected to my laptop from a router most of the time.

Yet, at other times i plug in a wireless 802.11b wireless card in.

The problem i have is, when i go to plug in the wireless card i have to completely re configure my computer to make it work with the internet and network through the 'network setup wizard.'

Does anyone know any network device switch that makes it possible not to have to reconfigure.
