switching from Informix to Oracle

I would appreciate comments from experienced professionals.. I presently work as a Data Analyst...using SQL and a little bit of stored procedure(in INFORMIX)..Recently i passed oracle 9i:SQL and studying for oracle 9i:pl/sql...
was wondering if i would have a smooth sail when(inevitable)i decide to switch jobs....into a company that uses oracle.....
would appreciate constructive comments...
