Our server is a terminal server and is currently in Application server mode. I need to install Symantec AntiVirus Enterprise edition 10. When I tried to install Symantec I received the error 'Symantec System Center cannot be installed on a terminal server.' Symantec say's you need to switch the server from Application Server Mode to Remote Administration Mode. Install the app and then switch back to Application mode. My question is Will switching server modes break or mess up any of the application currently running on the server? Will everything work the same?

Shouldn't effect anything. Drop to a command prompt, type in change user /install, then install Symantec. When it's done, type in change user /execute.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.
