I am running on my Secondary D_Channel. If I switch to the Primary D-Channel will I cause a disruption in service?

If both channels are active, is it necessary to switch to the primary side?

No, but it is preferred. To switch you would have to dis your secondary and let it roll to the Primary.

The command would be SDCH DCH x in LD 96

What you would see is the backup (active) release and reconnect, and the primary would become active.

Oh, and running on secondary does not do much as mentioned by bigindian65, some customers have pri monitors and that would require running on the prime....

Dropped calls can happen, if both Ds go down

Triton101 - Forgot about that one, always just bounced the Bdch or was in a RCVP=Yes scenario - have a star.

Thanks, I'll wait for a maintenance window to look at this.
