Switching between wireless cards

I have a Windows ME laptop that, at home, uses an Intel AnyPoint 1 wireless PC Card (Home RF) to access the Internet.

I've recently purchased an USR 2410 wireless PC Card (802.11b) to use at an office site and, say, Starbucks locations when I'm traveling.

I will need to switch between the cards, and settings for the cards (I suspect I'll need to modify my Network Control Panel Workgroup setting, for example) between home and other locations.

Is setting up two distinct Hardware Profiles the easiest way to do this? Or is there another method? Thanks.

I currently do this with a WIN98SE and Win2K laptops. The cards I'm switching are a RoamAbout and a Cisco Aironet 350. As long as your using the same ESSID, and WEP keys, and the drivers are loaded on the machine for both cards, all you have to do is stop and start the service through the sys tray icon (if enable) or the Control Panel.

I forgot one thing, you can create Wireless profiles in the wireless card properties for diffent environments whcih will circumvent HW profiles. I'm not familar with the cards your using, but I won't image it would be too much diffrent as long as the drivers are robust enough to include this ability.
