Hi All

Can anyone advise me on a problem we are having here , we have about 4 users on a switch using about 85% bandwith between sites
1GB Fibre link and these are pretty much standerd machines too , very wierd

Any commands or info you could help

thanks

You don't say what kind of switches you are using . Clear the counters and see who is transmitting all the traffic . how do you know they are using 85% of the available bandwidth ?

@techmk,

Why not use MRTG to monitor the ports on your (User) Switches and your Server Switch (it's free!)?
After a few hours you get a pretty good look at the most active Switch Ports.

You can find MRTG at
