Excel '97. Can VBA code in one workbook turn on Track Changes in another workbook and if so how, please?
 
Something like this ?
With Workbooks("Your workbook name")
.HighlightChangesOptions _
When:=xlSinceMyLastSave, _
Who:="Everyone"
.ListChangesOnNewSheet = True
End With
