Switch Hangs

Ok,

This is the first I have seen of this, let me know if you have seen this before?

I'm working on a 2924 after about a minute the switch locks up without any error messages. The first port light goes out but the rest go solid. Nothing is connected to the switch except the console cable. It passes the post and everything just fine, it can't be the ios because it happens in the rommon mode as well.

Anyone seen this before?

No TAC account, new Admin at a company they bought the thing from some website. I've never seen this error before, usually a 2900 will run no matter what you have done to it.

Try disconnecting the console cable. Had this happen once!! An older laptop comm port problem. Used an older rollover cable instead of the newer one and it fixed it. May not help, but is worth a try.

Somehow I don't think that is it, but hell I'll give it a shot. I have a ton of older rolled cables. Still oddest error I have ever seen.
