Hello, just got back from scraping my teeth on 640-901 and getting by :)
Anyway on to switching like everyone else. Here's my question. I was planning on buying a 2912 for a home lab becuase I have read that it more closely represents the ccie cert track, (cli, isl etc) figured I'd be able to use it for ccnp and if I go further great if not no biggie. Anyway I was reading in the bscmn 640-604 book that the test is on 1900 set based switches and cat5k switches. I dont think the 2912 would be a good representation of these. Any comments are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
jdl
