This has been haunting my career for quite sometime and recently the question has been posed to me AGAIN. So allow me get the right response from people I trust.

Is there anyway out there, a patch or something that will allow the switch the callpilot and maybe the symposium to all clock from one designated piece of equipment? I have been doing this manually since I was a dial tone chaser and just wanted to see if Nortel offered a solution

haven't seen you around for a while.. i never set the time in cp/symposium or even the mermail.. that's not true clocking.. (pri style) but they do get time of day and date via the switch settings..

when they changed daylight savings time this year, we changed the date of the change in the switch.. both servers tracked off of that.. even though the time in the cp server was off by an hour, the time stamp on the switch was correct. and we have several time of day menus, they all stayed in sync with the 81..i do sync my switch time of day off of the local lan via a script.. it was just faster then adjusting the clock in ld 2
