swf MOVIES won;t open in preview mode

I am not able to run swf movies. Flash Text, Flash Buttons, and FLV movies open in the preview windows and play in the layout table, but not swf movies.
I am not trying to view them on the web yet, just in preview mode.
The AC_RunActive.js must be working right or the other flash elements would not be working.

I've been working on this for hours

Please..anybody?
