Svspack.exe infected by Trojan and deleted.

Hi ppl, need some help here.

A few days ago, I received a DOS eror window while I was booting up into Windows. I think the error window came from my Norton anti-virus as it says that my svcpack.eve is infected by a Trojan. SO I delete the svcpack.exe.

Now, whenever I boot into windows, I will be greeted by a "Scvpack.exe not found" error.

May I know how I go about to remedy this?

Go Start>Run MSCONFIG
Look for an entry in Startup Tab and "uncheck" it.

Ya know;
It can be quite important to make sure the file name is correct when seeking assistance.....
ya got it wrong twice...

er...got a slight prob, that is I already deleted the svcpack.exe, so now whenever I boot into Windows, I got the scvpack.exe not found error.
What to do man?

I'm betting that something that shouldn't be there is still looking for the file. I think you've got an infection via one of the CoolWeb variants. Download and run this removal tool. Let us know if the problem persists:
