hi,

i have a win xp pro computer, dsl connection, and ms outlook 2000. i just notice that the computer sends e-mail using the e-mail account setup in outlook to people in my contacts. i have updated my norton anti virus and scanned the computer several times but can't find any virus. i've also used mcafee stinger but no help. i've updated the microsoft patch and all that. what should i try next before taking it to a specialist? thank you.

You can also download Zone Alarm " and it will prompt you everytime your computer tries to send anything out. This is the default setting anyway for zone alarm.

Download and run "Ad-Aware"from the Lavasoft website.
Works flawlessly to get rid of spyware, trojans and other malicious programs.

It can also be setup to keep these things from being reinstallled on your computer again.
