Suspect database, LSN Error !

hi from France !!!

i have often problems of suspect databases (sql7 sp1, sql2000)
when i watch sql log i see this line :

The LSN (567461:16:4) passed to log scan in database 'MyDB' is invalid...

and MyDB is marked as suspect !

- what's LSN !????
- what can i do to recover my suspect database !!?? sp_reset_status does not
anything !

LSN is the "Log Sequence Number" - See "Transaction Log Logical Architecture" and "Transaction Recovery" in SQL Server Books Online (BOL).

There doesn't seem to be much documentation on this error. You should probably call Microsoft Support. Terry
