Help,
I recently re-installed Windows 98. When it came to the sound card software (AWE64 Gold) I got the following message:
SURegCreateKeyFailed!
I OK'd the message and the install continued. I was asked to place a few lines in the system.ini which I did.
This caused my mouse to stop working when I restarted, and also, the MIDI soundfonts which were supposed to install, do not appear to have worked.
Any ideas? I've heard Norton can cause this problem. What do I do?
