Hi.

Is it possible to place a text object onto a report, that will only appear when the report is on the screen? Meaning that it will be supressed when you print the report to paper.

I'm using CR V8.

Hi

Unfortunately, You are not able to have a text object appear on the screen and then not appear when printed. There is nothing in Crystal that says whether it is being printed to screen or to the printer to be able to conditionally suppress on.

Sorry I couldn't be of a more positive help.

marckssq: Are you trying to have this text object suppress through code or from within CR? If from code then you could code a sub which checks for Destination - Printer being set or Click event on Print button in the viewer and suppresses text object that way. If in CR I have to agree with emcevoy No can do! David C. Monks
