Suppression Issue 1

I am using crystal XI.

In the report I am only displaying data in the group footer. However this section can be suppressed depending on the results. I have a formula for this section in the suppress tab in the section expert.

When I run the report it may bring back 100 records but all may be suppressed as a result of the suppression formula so only the headings would be displayed. Is there a way I could display a text box that says "No data" for example below the headings if there are no records displayed after the suppression?

If there were records displayed I would not want to see the text box.

Here is what I have done.

Just insert another group footer secton, suppress it and insert a text box with "No Data". Insert your suppression formula but just reverse the suppression criteria.

You need to share the content of the suppression formula (and any nested formulas).
