We have a site that is flooding the log with:
02 SEP 09 11:08:31AM
*** Possible Bad Line Card
>>> NOTIFY SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

Customer knows they need to address the issue with the card. In the meantime is there any way to suppress this particular error message? It fills the log up very quickly and constantly requires the log to be cleared out. Tried disabling the software alarms but that has no effect. This must be reported as a hardware alarm I'm guessing since it's related to line card.
Any ideas or do they just live with it till the line card is fixed?

Thanks.

Not that I'm aware of. There is no individual alarm filter.
If the entire card is bad, and not working. You could disable it in menu 4.

Often, this error is only from 1 port on the card. So, disabling may not be an option.

They just have to live with it.
