Another developer asked if I knew how to suppress a row in a cross tab. Apparently I don't. We are using Crystal XI and he needs the "item_no" (our version of a product number) to get an accurate total but, because it adds a row for the sale of every item the report ends up 900 pages long. So basically he is looking for a summary and doesn't need the data from the item_no row to show up. Does anyone know of a way to suppress an entire row in a cross tab?

The rows are Location_ID and Item_no, The summarized field is summary of Qty_Cost and the column is Location. Any help anyone can offer would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I think you should explain more thoroughly why he needs the item as a row in the first place. It's easy enough to suppress certain rows, but no so easy to eliminate the remaining space.

Because if he elimintates the item number the report becomes inaccurate.
