I am having trouble suppressing a blank subreport. I looked through the forum and other's seemed to have similiar problems, but they seemed to be able to suppress the subreport, but an empty space was in it's place which they wanted to get rid of. For me, I can't even get that far.
I have set 'suppress blank section' on the detail of the main report and 'suppress embedded blank field' on the labels of that detail. The subreport object does not have a 'suppress blank' option on the subreport tab of the format. Within the subreport, I have set every section, detail, label etc to 'suppress blank'. The fields within the detail of the subreport does not have that option on it.
Ultimately, it looks like I have done as much as I can, and it doesn't work. I have gone to crystal desicions knowledge base and found info for versions 6, 8.5, and 9. But they didn't work because steps mentioned couldn't be carried out in the .net version because the features are different. I found a document stating that a feature with the .net version is that 'suppress blank subreport' is easier to do and doesn't produce blank spaces in it's place. But I couldn't find and info/steps on how to do it.
Help and thanks in advance.
