Superviosr Login Failure

Hi

I just installed BO 5.1.2 without any errors or warning on win2000 advanced server.

i did

Business object 5.1-> supervisor-> admin-> then i created a supervisor.

but i tried to login again as a super visor its giving USR0032 error " you must enter the correct login to access business objects.

the database connection working fine, i am taking care of case sensitivity. i go through the guide and used the recovery method , i successfullly created the BOMain key file.

but still getting error.
please help me .

Are you accessing an existing repository? Or, did you build a new one?

When you built the repository, you specified a user id and password. Is that the one you used? If not, delete the repository and start over. It should only take you a minute to do it.

I did the same thing. I created a user with

username: supervisor
( can i use supervisor as user name .. is it a keyword)
pass : super

i got the BO main key file and results.txt file

but when i tried to relogin with this user name and password it is giving the error.

i tried the recovery procedure and tried a different user name and password and got new BOmain key file, but still not working

it needs reinstallation or wht?

Hi,

I would suggest to create a new clean repository and give a new UserName and Password (maybe empty) and make sure you noted it down. Then try logging in again. If it stills gives the error I would suggest to run a query against the repository to find whether the user is created or not.
Which DB are you creating the repository in ????

Hi all,

Finally i got the solution. The database engine i am using is MS Access 97. I have some problem with that club module(demo data). i queried against my repository and find that it is creating nothing. I fix the problem in that. I am logging in right now as supervisor.
