Can I use these just like standard fiber ports? Can I connect other cisco switches into these 2 ports? (I'm using SX GBICs with MMF cable).

I see that buckweet answered your question, but I'd like to add that I like to use the GBIC's in the SUP modules to connect to my other core switches.

There's nothing 'special' about them, but I just know off the top of my head that those are used to go to my other main switches.

I have to agree with dibbkd, I only use sup port gbics for trunking to my main switch, except on the floor with my server room, the second gbic port on each of my 2 switches is linked to the other switch with spanning tree turned on so if I loose one of my main trunks the servers arn't cut off.
