Newbie here, my apologies in advance...Is there a way to change the MAC address on a Sun Ultra 45 System? I have tried several different methods, mkpl, Setenv, Ipconfig, ifconfig. None of these work at all. All I get is the command back with a question mark next to it, i.e. "mkpl?" I have successfully used the mkpl on the Sun Ultra 10 and the Sun Sunblade150 but it wont work on the Ultra 45. Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you're typing the [tt]mkpl[/tt] command at the 'ok' prompt. It's a PROM command. Also, the version of your PROM might not support it. You might be able to patch or upgrade your boot PROM to a version that supports it.
