sun ultra 2 / 5c keyboard

Hi,

I've connected a type 5c keyboard to a sun ultra enterprise 2 and on boot all the keyboard lights flash once and it beeps, but then the screen prompts "can't open input device, keyboard not present".
Is there perhaps some specific settings of the keyboard dip switches required?
