we have a 2-node Solaris 8 / Sun Cluster 3.0 installation, on which i would like to implement NTP ( network time protocol ). Internally, Sun Cluster 3.0 already uses xntpd, which is used to synchronize both nodes' system time.
However, i would like to get it to work with an external NTP server, after which the other servers could synchronize against either cluster node.
Has anybody got any experience with this - specifically the combination of the 3 (solaris 8/cluster/ntp) who is willing to share it ?
