I have an existing Report in Access and I need to Summarize the columns on this report. Two of the columns have two data points, "Yes" and "no", I need to summarize how many "yes" there are in these columns. Next column, I need to breakdown by date of entry. The last column has data on some of the lines, but not all. I need to total the lines that have data entered. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would appreicate it.

Thanks.

There's a Microsoft Access Reports forum. :)

Perhaps something like this...

sum(iif(field="yes",1,0)) or was it sum(if(field="yes",1,0))

Also, in the report, under sorting and grouping, I believe there is a running total?

sum(if(field is null, 1, 0))

Hope that helps. Good luck.
