Sum Variables

Hello,
Is there other alternative to sum a variable with a new separate group. This variable is a running total in a three-formula approach.

I tried using sum(), but of course it gave an error. I am using 7.

Thanks for any help in advance.

May be try using a formula field and create your own formula to sum the variables
