A little background info....
large tree for state government agency. My OU contains mix of 5.0, 5.1 and 6.0 servers on different versions of ds.nlm. All servers are listed in DNS. I only have two print queues that will be gone soon. Plan to do an ACU on all workstations to bring up to 3.40 and/or 4.90 sp2.

What suggestions would you make on accomplishing this?

Thanks.

Implement SLP throughout your tree. Then remove IP from your servers one location at a time. Troubleshoot and ensure proper sync before doing next location.

Heh... I know you meant "... remove IPX ..."

I'd expand to:
- Implement SLP
- Move to NDPS. You can keep the queues if you want, just have NDPS service them. Remove IPX from the print servers
- Remove IPX from workstations one area at a time. This can be done via ACU.
- Remove IPX from the servers
- If appropriate, remove IPX from the routers

Naturally, testing at each step will avoid headaches.
