Hi, I'm working with Windows XP Home Edition
I have the following error on the Event Viewer:
The device, \Device\CdRom0, has a bad block

The CD/Drive opens and closes constantly, then the pc
freezes.

Any suggestions will be great.
Thank you.

Replace the CD Rom drive.
(Including its cable with a new 80-conductor IDE cable rather than the 40 conductor cable you likely have now).
