I have 6 locations, 3 of which are connected via frame and 3 of which are connected via point-to-point T1.

I am contemplating purchasing BRI cards for my routers, a 3640 at main site and 2620XM at the 5 other sites, and setting up DDR over ISDN BRI for dial backup.

Does anyone have any suggestions about the best way to do this?

I know it is a rather open-ended question, but I want to make sure I don't make any stupid mistakes on the design.

Thanks.

Just configure all your 26xx's to dial the Main 3640 router. When designing DDR you want to follow a hub/spoke design.

I thought that made the most sense as well, but that would also require multiple BRI circuits at the main site. Is there any more cost effective way to do it without putting 5 BRI circuits in my main location?
