I have been developing a new universe for users on a SQL Server box for the past month and a half. At close of business yesterday when I came to export the universe. I got a message stating "Could Not Export Universe" there was no error code. The suggestion here has been that the Repository has been damaged somehow. I have therefore run a scan and repair from Supervisor. Almost every item on the list displayed stated "Invalid Last Action Datetime" - I must confess I am travelling very quickly towards those big words - YOU ARE OUT OF YOUR DEPTH!!! Can anybody provide any advice????

So, can you do the Repair and Compact. It does sound like your repository has a problem. How 'bout going to a backup?

thanks for the input. I have done a Repair and Compact but to no avail. However, it transpires that the DBA had been playing with permissions, - that seems to have solved the export problem, however the repository does not seem to be able to hold user names now!! Thanks for your help on the original problem anyway!
