Sudden Error message when db opens - forms not loading

HI,

For no apparent reason I've started getting the following error message when I open a db I've been using for some time. :

An error occurred while loading 'form name'. Do you want to continue loading the project?

I get an error message for each form in the db. I hit'Yes' each time in response, and the forms seem to load fine. Anyone know why I'm suddenly getting this message? I've compacted and repaired the db, but this had no effect. It's not happening on any other db.

Sounds like you have a corruption problem. Repairing the db ala MS is no guarantee you will clean it up either.

Two suggestions. Before you do either, back up your database. You don’t want it worse than it already is.

First and easiest, use the decompile switch as follows.


"Full Path to msaccess.exe" FullPathToMDBFile /decompile

Then recompile and try it out.

If that fails. Second suggestion is

Create a blank database and import all objects from the original database into the new database.
