Just a quickie.<br><br>Can you subtract strings to do the equivalent of a unix 'diff'. E.g. <br><br><FONT FACE=monospace>$string_1 - $string_2 = $diff_of_strings_1_and_2;</font><br><br>If not, can anyone suggest a simple way of doing the same thing.<br><br>Cheers<br>Loon

Maybe the easiest, if not the most elegant, would be to get the Cygwin Tools, a free ware set of unix utils for the Win platforms and use that 'diff'.<br><br><A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> <p> <br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= > </a><br> keep the rudder amid ship and beware the odd typo
