substring update 1

Hello,
can anyone help me with the following problem, please?
I'd like to change part of a string in one field of my database table. It is an URL, whereby the first part of the URL should be changed in all entries due to a new server address and the last bit, the actual filename, should stay the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
