Morning,

While creating a form using the form wizard, I get an error msg stating "Subscript out of range" after I have added all the needed fields from my various tables.

What does it mean?

I have 23 tables: Cats, dogs, horses...
each table has three fields: Field 1, Field 2, Photo.

Field 1 = Ref # (not primary key)
Field 2 = The breed
Photo = picture

So when adding the fields I get;
Dogs.Field 1
Dogs.Field 2
Dogs.Photo
Cats.Field 1
etc

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Wizards use subscripts; i.e., Field(1), Field(2), to maintain a log of the objects which you place on the form. I suspect that you have exceeded the limit of fields that the wizard can manage. Try placing your fields on the form manually. Also, you might consider using tabs to place fewer fields on each screen.

Hey Mac,

Thanks for the info and advice.

I did the manual entry and that did the trick.

Thanks again!
