Please please! someone help me...

I have a report for an invoice. I need to print at once 4 copies of the invoice marking each copy as "ORIGINAL", "CLIENT", "ACCOUNTING", "FILE".

I did this creating a blank report and then inserting 4 copies of the invoice as subreports. It works fine for one page invoices...

When I print an invoice bigger than 1 page, the subreport wont break page and print footers, instead, lines go along until they are finished and then it prints the footer.

I've been reading similar posts and believe me when I tell you: I have tried everything, I UNCHECKED the "keep toghether object" option on Format subreport, UNCHECKED the "keep toghether" option on format section (details), UNCHECKED the "keep together" options on sections inside the subreport, I removed the checks also from print new page after from the details sections on which the subreports are.

I have each subreport on separate sections (details a, b, c, d), I'm using CR 8.5

Is this:

"the subreport wont break page and print footers"

a page footer or report footer?

I just tested and the page footers in the Main report still display when the sub goes beyond a single page (CR 8.5 with all hotfixes applied).

It is the sub's report footer.

It do prints the report footer but at the end of the sub, not in every page.

I have to note also that when I run the sub alone, it works fine and all the footers print correctly.

When you talk about hotfixes, well I think thay may be a problem because I use an OEM version of CR that comes with Solomon IV and I can't install the hotfixes on my OEM version. :(

There is no such thing as a "page footer" for a subreport. Subreports only have report headers and footers.

There are ways you can programatically make it "look" like subreport page headers and footers.. but not sure how to do it in your OEM version

My OEM version has full functionality.

The only thing missing has to do with the Crystal Reports Designer Component (I can't register it on VBasic).
