Subreport not populating with data Crystal.Net

Trying to create a crystal report in Visual Studio 2005 to be used in an application. Need to create a subreport in the report to group differently and sum up the values. When create the subreport using the same dataset and run it, it does not show any data. using Sql Server 2005 stored proc. We've tried using the wizard to create the subreport - tried using the same report to create the subreport. We also totally called a seperate report (totally different stored proc and report) and that still produced no results in the Crystal Report for the subreport.

Any clues?
