I have a subform with check boxes. I want to select one check box rather than all. Right now the data source is from a query and when you open the main form with the subform and go to select a check box on the subform all the check boxes are checked rather than just the one you want to select. How do you keep this from happening?

It sounds to me like the control sources of your checkboxes are set to the same field of your query. They will either need to be unbound or set to different fields of your query.

Checkboxes are normally used for multiple choices, perhaps maybe you can try using option buttons? With option buttons you can only have one choice out of many.

If...your subform has continuous records, and "all the check boxes are checked" means that the check box in each record shows checked when you select it in one of the records...then your checkbox control is unbound. It must be bound to a field in the data source to work properly.[/tt]
